Erma Lucille Mann Nichols was born April 11, 1928, in Pekin, a daughter of Arthur and Blanche C. Hocker Mann. She married Walter Wayne Nichols Nov. 13, 1948, in Pekin.
Surviving are four daughters, Donna (James) Hash, Cynthia 'Cindy' Nichols, Renee (Rich) Happach and Marietta (Frank) Nelson; two sons, Daniel Nichols and Gary Nichols; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Clanin and Norma (Norman) Grant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Feb. 9, 2009, in Peoria; two brothers, James Mann and Loren Mann; and two sisters, Leona Mann and Elsie Lindsey.
