Resident of St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Wife of George P Rankins (married about 1901). At least one daughter, Mattie B Rankins, born about 1907. Carrie is the daughter of Charles & Elizabeth Mayberry Jones. Lived in Harrisonburg many years. Her home was razed (Corner of Broadway and Wolfe) by the city of Harrisonburg to provide parking for downtown. Mrs. Emma Jane Broaddus (b 1880), her sister, also buried in this cemetery.
