Curtis Gordon Martínez, age 52, a resident and member of Laguna Pueblo, NM, passed away on August 19, 2008.
Curtis is survived by his children, Renee Martínez and her husband, Billy Pulliam, Kenneth Martínez, William Martínez, Michael Martínez and Scott Martínez, his parents, Edwin and Vera Martínez, his brothers, Edwin Martínez, Nevin Martínez and Moses Martínez, his sisters, Lynn Martínez, Karen Tachias, Angela Martínez and Carol Martínez, his grandchildren, Joshua, Anastancia and Madison and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Martínez and Terry Martínez.
Curtis was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at the family home in Laguna, NM after 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Old Laguna, NM at 11:00 a.m., Father Larry Bernard, presider. Interment will follow at Old Laguna Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be William Martínez, Michael Martínez, Scott Martínez, Chris Martínez, Moses Martínez, Steven Sáiz, John Zamora and Chris Zamora.
