Deborah was born to Roger Joseph and Lillian Virginia "Ginny" (Allen) Fay. She married Eugene Scott Whitmore on May 27, 1972, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Ill.


Deborah is survived by her husband, Scott; her daughter, Jennifer F. Whitmore of Dunlap, Ill.; her son, Joshua S. (Anne) Whitmore, also of Dunlap; two grandsons, John Dominic Whitmore and Jude Whitmore; her brother, Steven R. (Nancy) Fay of Sandwich, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents.


Deborah was the business manager for Montgomery Ward for 15 years.


She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where Scott and Deborah sang in the church choir together. Deborah had also been a member of the Easter Seals Auxiliary and the Junior League of Peoria as well as a CCD teacher.


Deborah enjoyed working with Corn stock Theatre, where she met Scott at the age of 15, and Peoria Players Theatre.


Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
