Cecil Bryan Wolf, Sr., age 72, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday morning, February 28, 2012. He was born March 14, 1939 in Bryan, TX to Fred Houston and Myrtle Delores (Ellis) Wolf. Cecil grew up in Groesbeck, TX and was a 1957 graduate of Groesbeck High School and proudly served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. He moved to Mustang in 1971 from the St. Louis area. He worked 36 years at FAA, retiring in 1994 as a system analyst. Cecil was a very active member of The Bridge Assembly of God, serving over forty years as secretary-treasurer, was longtime song leader, taught Sunday School, was head of the Royal Ranger Program. He was active in the Mustang Kiwanis Club where he had served in every elected office as well as Lt. Gov. for the Okla/Texas District. He has also served on the Mustang Planning Commission. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Aline and Sharon and two brothers DeWayne and Rufus. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Shellie of the home, one daughter Cynthia Bonita Wilkerson and husband Bryan of Mustang, two sons Cecil Bryan Wolf, Jr. of Leesburg, VA, Shelby Clayton Wolf and wife Ersy of Valdosta, GA and five grandchildren Ariel Paige, Grady Deacon, Kaleb Ian, Johan Isaak and Audrey Gabrielle. Also by two brothers Weldon Wolf and wife Margie of Bartlesville, OK, Donnie Dwight Wolf and wife Harriett of Lumberton, TX, three sisters Mildred Mask and husband Earl of Angleton, TX, Doris McClure of Hern, TX and Mabel Schmidt and husband Marvin of Lufkin, TX. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Loaves and Fishes Ministries at The Bridge Assembly of God or the Mustang Kiwanis Club. These can be made through McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 8am to 8pm on Friday, March 2, 2012 with family greeting friends from 6pm until 8pm. Services will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at The Bridge Assembly of God Church 1116 W. Hwy 152, Mustang, OK with interment following at 10am on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Ivy Cemetery, Kennard, TX under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
