A patient over a year, Martin C. Myers, 87, died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday in the National Nursing Home, Angola.

A native of Ohio, Myers was born March 23, 1883. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lauber Reformed Mennonite Church at Burlington, Ohio.

Survivors include two sons, Verlin and Jack, both of Pleasant Lake; three daughter, Mrs. Lewis Boyce, of Pleasant Lake; Mrs. Cora Charleston, Butler; and Mrs. James Schwartz, of Fort Wayne; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Floyd, of Waldron, Michigan, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Brehm, of Fayette, Ohio.

Friends may call at the Weicht Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) through Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lauber Reformed Mennonite Church followed by burial in the Lauber Cemetery, Burlington, Ohio.
