Funeral services for Frances Vacek Muzny, 87, of Needville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2003, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with interment following at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Needville. The Rev. James Ramsey will officiate the services. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2003, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the Davis Chapel in Needville.

Frances was born May 28, 1915 in Ammansville to Joseph Vacek and Rosalie Chalupka Vacek. She passed away May 19, 2003 in Richmond. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and KJZT.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emil Muzny; parents, Joseph and Rosalie Vacek; sisters, Mary Anders, Annie Cerny, and Elizabeth Cerny; and brother, Joe Vacek.

She is survived by her brother, Frank P. Vacek of Richmond, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers are Dennis Haas, Daniel Haas, Jerome C. Vacek, Stanley Cerny, Ivan Anders, and Willie Joe Vacek.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis Chapel in Needville. 281-341-8800.
