The family suggested memorials be sent to Mount Pleasant Cemetery or the Heart Fund. Garnet was born July 2, 1910, at High Hill, MO, to Porter William, Sr. and Emma Elizabeth Deardorff Sublette. Garnet had five sisters and five brothers; Eula Mae Conley, Hurley Allen Sublette, Rayburn Russell Sublette, Goldie Elizabeth Cunningham, Woodrow Wilson Sublette, Helen Pauline Schraer, Margaret Ruth Zumwalt, Emma Lee Boeke, Porter William Sublette, Jr. and John Berry Sublette.
