Israel Adams Jr was born about 1734 in Andover, MA, he was the son of Israel and Tabitha Adams of Andover, MA. Mr Adams came to Rindge with his wife Elizabeth, his parents, Israel and Tabitha, and five children in 1772. Israel and Elizabeth had eight children in all, five born in Andover and three born in Rindge. He was a signatory of the "Association Test" in Rindge in 1776. Israel Adams Jr was elected as constable in 1783. He was a selectman in 1775. His wife died November 9, 1809. Israel died May 15, 1819, aged 85 years.
