Services for Inez Jones Claiborne, 93, of Covington's Convalescent Center will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Henninger Funeral Home with the Rev. L. Carman King officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She died on Tuesday at the Convalescent Center after a long illness.

A native of Trigg County, she was born April 20, 1892, the daughter of the late John W. and Hattie Cravens Jones. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Her first husband, Felix F. Atwood, died in 1945, and her second husband, James J. Claiborne, died in 1968.

Survivors include three sons, John W. of Eddyville, William F. of Inkster, Mich., and Felix C. Atwood, Frankfort; four stepsons, Keith of Hopkinsville, Jerry of Lexington, James of Cadiz and George Claiborne of Owensboro; five stepdaughters, Elizabeth Claiborne, Hopkinsville; Mrs. Marion Garnett, Christian County; Mrs. James Warren, Merritt Island, Fla.; Mrs. Ira Massie, Lexington and Mrs. C. M. Eastwood, Lafayette, La.; and four grand-children and seven gr-grandchildren.
