Ralph Cavanaugh, 52, of Oakdale, died at the Oakdale hospital Friday night after a long illness. The funeral will be Tuesday at St. Thomas More Church with burial in Memory Gardens. The rosary will be recited Monday at the Beckman-Butherus Funeral Home. Visitation began this morning.
Mr. Cavanaugh was born July 22, 1923 in Wisconsin to Earnest and Adeline Bach Cavanaugh. He lived in Des Moines until recently moving to Oakdale.
He is survived by a cousin.
