The funeral of Clinton DeWitt Sterry took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of his son, C.N. Sterry, south of the city. Rev. A.B. Tomlinson of the Baptist church, officiated and the Amphion Club was present and furnished some beautiful music for the solemn occasion. Quite a number of the members of the Emporia bar were in attendance, and the following gentlemen acted as pall-bearer: Van R. Holmes, W.W. Scott, W.F. Chalfant, J. Jay Buck, G.W. Frederick and T. Johnson.
