Sylacauga, AL - Marlin Troy McGrady, 46, lost his 15 year battle with brain cancer and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and granddaddy. He served in the Army from 1983 - 1987. He worked as a cabinet/countertop maker and installer most of his adult life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euell and Bonnie McGrady, brother, Gerald McGrady and sister, Patricia McGrady.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kim McGrady, daughters, Patricia (Daniel) Allen, Rebecca McGrady and granddaughter Heidi Gardner, brothers, Michael (Marilyn) McGrady, Franklin (Sue) McGrady and Thomas (Marian) McGrady.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Carey Brown officiating. Burial will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Allen, Stephen Jones, Matthew Gardner, Darius King, Michael Gardner and Mason Gardner.
The family would like to give special thanks to New Beacon Hospice, Jill Stubblefield, Roxanne Harris and Jolie Darty.
