Raleigh V. "Chub" Schulz, 82, was a son of Chris and Lucille Petersen Schulz. He married Delores E. States on July 5, 1952 in Pontiac. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, James (Dina) Schulz, Pontiac and William (Karen) Schulz, Pontiac; one daughter, Ali (Jim) Malayter, Valparaiso, Indiana and five grandchildren, Joy Bereolos, Jeremy Schulz, Chris Schulz, Alyssa Schulz and Aislinn Malayter.
He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps as an aircraft mechanic. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, George, Frank, Chris, Richard, Robert and LeRoy Schulz.
