Obituary of Madeline Andrews-Hodge

Clermont, MS ~ On April 8th 2012 Madeline Andrews-Hodge departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her brother John Vincent Andrews and her niece Michelle Andrews. She leaves behind her beloved cherished memories and to celebrate her life, husband David E. Hodge; mother Geraldine S. Andrews; father Edward James Andrews Sr.; brother Edward James Andrews Jr. and wife Betty Andrews; sister Bonnie Andrews - Valentine and husband Duane Shipp; niece Brandi Andrews; nephews, Shane and Jonathan Valentine, Will Saunders, Brian & Keith Shipp; 7 great nieces; 3 great nephews; mother-in-law, Sarah Burkert; sister-in-laws, Barbara Day and Rhonda Kanan; and a host of family and friends.

Madeline graduated from Harrison Central High School in 1975 and grew up in Gulfport, MS. Shortly after graduating she became a Staff instructor for Babizon School of Modeling in New Orleans, LA and a spokesperson for Glass Motors. In 1983 she moved to Miami, Florida and began a modeling career which she was a principal and extra in over 350 local, national and international commercials, film and television productions for Miami Vice, Crystal Lite, Clairol and Toyota. She was also a principal in the George Michael Video for WHAM in Carless Whisper and Miami Vice.

Madeline has been a Production Coordinator for Renaissance Cruises and a Director of Sales for SeaQuest Cruises. In 1999 she became owner of Model Millennium and has been working with models of all types for print, tv, and the Miami Boat shows.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 13, 2012. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
