Bonnett Brother Dies Suddenly
Word of the unexpected and sudden death of his brother Phene Bonnett, 30, in Compton, last night was received by Cletis Bonnett, chief deputy county recorder this morning.
Phene Bonnett, a navy veteran who served during the last war in the Pacific theater, was employed as a guard by the Bethlehem Steel Corp., in Compton where he lived with his widowed mother, Mrs. Mary E. Bonnett, as well as another married brother, Alvin Bonnett.
Another brother, Lewis, is a resident of Waldron, Ark.
Mr. Cletis Bonnett before leaving Visalia this noon for Compton said he had been informed his brother's death was due to a throat hemorrhage.

Funeral services for Phene Bonnett, 30, brother of Cletis Bonnett, chief deputy Tulare county recorder, will be held in Compton next Tuesday.
Death was said due to a throat hemorrhage and came without warning.
