Married Orlena Elizabeth Young on May 30, 1895 in Lee Co, VA. She died in 1907. On the 1910 Census he is listed as widowed with only son Ora (Orrie) living with him, his other children - Georgela, Bonnie, Elizabeth, Harvey, Emery and Moizelle were boarded out with the Hodges' family. On the 1920 Census he is married to Adelaide (Moreland Jenkins). Children living with them: Ora (Orrie), Elizabeth, Emery, Harvey and Adelaide's daughter Margaret.
