WEST CARROLLTON - Joseph W. Singleton Jr., 43, of West Carrollton, formerly of Ironton, died Friday at his home. The Tampa, Fla., native was born April 2, 1961, the son of Lorna Bunker Singleton of Columbus and Joseph W. Singleton, deceased.
He was a machinist for Goodrich in Troy and a graduate of Ironton High School.
He also was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanne Bunker; and two uncles, Jack L. Bunker and Gary Singleton.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters, Ashley Singleton and Amanda Singleton, both of Kettering; one son, Alex Singleton of Centerville; and one sister, Vicki Singleton of Columbus.
A memorial service will be 8 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 1516 Salem Ave., Dayton, with the Rev. Henry Brooks officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton, with the Rev. Henry Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home.
