Yale senior basketball player. As a sophomore, Hill may have been the most improved player on the team. After averaging eight minutes in 22 games as a freshman, Hill played in all 32 contests in 2001-02, averaged nearly 14 minutes and scored a team-high 14 points in the Ivy League playoff game with Penn. His top performance came against Brown when he posted a career-high 21 points on 7 of 9 shooting from the field. Hill was a consistent contributor off the bench as a freshman. He tallied a season-best 10 points on five-of-seven shooting in the season finale against Brown. A graduate of the Sanford School, Hill was runner-up for the "Mr. Basketball" Award in Delaware during his junior and senior seasons. In his four years, Sanford went undefeated in conference play (32-0). He is survived by his parents and two older brothers.
