Dr. Richard "Rick" Singleton, 56, suddenly passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God DFW, 3800 Hwy. 121, Bedford. Officiated by Rev. David Freeman. Memorials: May be made to the SPCA of Texas at SPCA.org, 214-461-1831. Rick was born on April 18, 1955, to Marilyn and James B. Singleton. He was a graduate of Richland High School and a graduate of Texas A&M Veterinary School of Medicine in 1980. He was owner of Singleton Veterinary Hospital in Grapevine. He was a loving and caring son and a devoted husband. His love for animals and life made him an extraordinary person as well as a compassionate and devoted physician. He had a passion for giving freely to others and an abundant and generous heart. Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Bob" Singleton and his father, Rev. James B. Singleton. Survivors: His wife, Deborah Singleton; and his mother, Marilyn Singleton.
