Stella Juanita Cade, 82, Gray, went home to be with the lord Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012, at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
Mrs. Cade was born September 23, 1929, in Unicoi, TN, the daughter of the late Raymond & Burley Ayers Crowder. She was a native of the Oak Grove Community in Gray, TN, and had lived in the area all her life.
Mrs. Cade was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Stella loved to quilt and was very proud of the quilts that she had made.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cade is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Cade; two sisters, Nina Pierce and Nila Faye Crowder; and a brother, Bill Crowder.
Survivors of Stella Juanita Cade include her two sons, Robert L. Jr. & wife, Linda Cade, of Church Hill, TN, and Brian L. & wife, Sara Cade, of the Oak Grove Community; three sisters, Pat Minarik, of Gloucester, VA, Carolyn Shelton, of Gloucester, VA, and Ruth Adams, of Providence Forge, VA; four grandchildren, Crissy Cade, Craig Cade, Brandon Cade and Dustin Cade; one great-grandchild, Ilise Cade; special niece, Audrey Tucker; special friend, Jo Mullins; and several nieces and nephews.
