SCOTT GETZINGER died suddenly in a car accident. He leaves behind his wife, his 2 daughters, and his son; his parents, his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is also survived by his father-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law and their husbands, a brother-in-law and his wife, and several nieces, and nephews.

Scott had been residing in Newtown,CT but originally hailed from Branford, graduating from BHS in 1984. Readers of the Branford Review may remember the humorous columns he wrote on life at BHS. He also attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and Southern Connecticut State University.

He worked as a property master in the film and television industry, providing props for more than 25 movies, including Spider-Man, Independence Day, The Truman Show, and the upcoming Men in Black III and The Dark Knight Rises. Scott's generosity and kindness had no bounds. To know him was to love him. "There will never be another you."
