Shirley Elaine Abrahamson, 65 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her home.

She was a native of Hardin County and a member of the Jehovah's Witness.

She volunteered at the women's prison in Kentucky and was a volunteer minister at Hardin County Detention Center. She loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Herbert and Ruth Christine Bradley.
She is survived by her husband, Mark G. Abrahamson, Sr.; one son, Randal James Baker of Radcliff; two daughters, Alanna Carman of Rineyville and Christina Elaine Baker of Elizabethtown; one step son, Mark G. Abrahamson, Jr. of Cloverport; one step daughter, Debra Haynes of Louisville; three brothers, Eugene Bradley and Arlie Bradley both of Elizabethtown and Ron Bradley of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Faye Abel and Linda Arkwight both of Indiana; eight grandchildren, Brandon Kyle Gibson, Chad Robert Gibson, Eli Carman, Loren Carman, Leah Carman, Gerrad Gordon, Kristin Schreiner and Desirae Schreiner and one great granddaughter, Haylee Madison Gibson.

A Memorial service will be Sunday, April 15 at 5 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Radcliff
