Frances Foltz Madigan, 90, of Berryville, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Greenfield of Berryville Senior Living.
Ms. Madigan was born May 19, 1921 in Page County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Ray Vaughn Foltz and Pearl Dofflemyer Foltz.
She retired from Doubleday in the accounting office. She was a member of Berryville Baptist Church.
Surviving are four sisters, Hazel Fincham of Foley, AL, Greta Fries of Winchester, VA, Doris Asbury and Barbara Brannon, both of Berryville, VA; two brothers, Denis Foltz of Berryville, VA and Max Foltz of Stephens City, VA.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Madigan, two sisters, Mildred Foltz Crim(1923-2010) and Charlotte Virginia Estes, and a brother, Vance Foltz.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Berryville Baptist Church, Berryville with Pastor Dan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville.
The family will receive friends 7:00 – 9:00 P. M. Sunday evening at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville.
