Vernie Ethel Cash, age 95, of Evansville, Ind., died 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Brentwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cash had worked as a seamstress for the Cavalier Garment Factory where she put pockets in overalls. She was a 42-year member of First Baptist Church, a member of the Euvenice Class and the Alice Findlay Circle.
She is survived by a niece, Marge Romeo of Edmond, Okla.; nephews, Norman Cash and his wife, Ellen of Schenactady, N.Y., Dr. M. Earl Cash of Independence, Mo., Maurice Cash of Armada, Mich., and Charles Brewer of Mount Carmel, Ill.; and friends and caregivers, Virginia Gore, Clara Stitt and Diane Legler, all of Evansville, Ind.
Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Boone Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, 4th and Chandler Avenue, with Reverend Posey Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
