Ada L. Dionne, 77, of Epping NH, died October 19, 2005, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire. She was born May 12, 1928, in Epping, daughter of the late George and Melena (Proulx) Nichols. Ada was a lifelong resident of Epping and worked all her life locally at several different area shoe factories. Mrs. Dionne was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Epping.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip T. Dionne, who died in 1991.

She is survived by her daughters Carol Lumb and Rita Foote both of Epping; sons Philip Dionne of West Newfield ME, George Dionne of Brentwood NH, Albert Dionne of Nottingham NH, and Daniel Dionne of Epping; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Blanche Savage of Barrington NH and Marie George of Somersworth NH; brothers Leon Nichols of Somersworth NH and Edmond Nichols of Barrington NH; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, Epping. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping.
