During the Civil War he was enlisted private in Co. A, 150th Missouri Infantry Regiment. He engaged in the Battles of Pea Ridge, Cornith, Perryville, Stones River, Chickamauga, Chattanooga, Orchard Knob, Missionary Ridge, Rocky Face Ridge and Dalton.
Old Resident Dies.
Aaron Aldrich was born in New York state November 3, 1837, and passed away at his home here this morning, August 2, 1919, at the age of 82 years. He was a resident of this county for 75 years. The deceased is the grandfather of Gary Ryals, of this city.
No funeral arrangements have been made.
