Wirt L. Harris Sr, 73, of 2033 NW 47, died Thursday at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Services will be at 11 am Saturday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Harris was born in Mineral Springs, TX, and came to Oklahoma City in 1930. He was an attorney and a retired vice president and general council for Kingwood Oil Co. He was a World War I veteran, a member of St Luke's United Methodist Church and had attended Texas A&M University. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; a son, W. L. Jr, 5820 Barnes Circle; a daughter, Mrs Jane Galloway, of the home; and a brother, J. P. of Longview, TX.
