Velma Lee Liszeo, 82, passed away Jan 22, 2000 in Oklahoma City. She was born Aug 12, 1917 in Dustin, OK and was also raised there. She graduated from Hills Business College and was a private secretary prior to her marriage.
On March 8, 1943 she married Albert W. Liszeo in Chicago, IL, and was his loving wife for 57 years. She was a member of Baptist Temple for 50 years. Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Ona McClure; and her brother, Earl W. McClure.
Surviving to celebrate her life, Velma leaves her husband, Albert W. Liszeo; a son, Lloyd Wayne Liszeo and his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Sharon Kay Patric and her husband, Alan; six grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Velma was a loving wife and a wonderful mother, and was very devoted to her family.
The family is deeply appreciative of the special care and attention the nurses from room 701 Intensive Care at Integris Baptist Medical Center gave to Velma. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
