NICHOLASVILLE - Geneva Reynolds Becknell, 89, widow of Andrew Becknell of McDonald Street, died Mon., Feb. 23, 2004 at St. Joseph East Hospital. She was a member of Nicholasville Baptist Church. She was born Dec. 5, 1914 on Poosey Ridge in Madison Co. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Lizzie Collins Reynolds. She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Muncy and her husband Bady, Sheila McCuddy and her husband Lin, four grandchildren, Marla Baines, Mitch McCuddy, Duane McCudddy, and Brent Muncy, ten great grandchildren, Kate and Matt Edminston, Chase, Andrew, Brett and Ethan McCuddy, Samantha and Lindsay McCuddy, Will and Molly Muncy and two step-great grandchildren, Courtney Baines and Austin White, a sister, Eudel Reynolds Kurtz. She was preceded in death by a sister Goldie Reynolds Becknell. Services will be 11 am Thurs. at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 9 pm today (Wed.). Burial in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Bady and Brent Muncy, Andrew Baines, Duane and Chase McCuddy and Lester Watts. Honorary bearers will be Milton Stinnett, Gayle Moss, Lyda Benson, Robert Miller and Sam O'Connell.
