Goldia Lorene Morgan, 86, of Norman died Sunday, Dec. 18, at Norman Regional Hospital after a short illness. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Leon Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Havenbrook Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Morgan was born June 6, 1919, in Belzoni to Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Green. She finished high school at Rattan (OK) and attended college at Southeastern State College. She lived in Oklahoma City during World War II and worked at Douglas Aircraft. She married Walter Kenneth Morgan June 14, 1946. They moved to Lubbock, Texas at the close of WWII, where she was employed for many years by Texas Instruments and where she retired.

After Mr. Morgan's death in 1986, she moved to Oklahoma City. Mrs. Morgan lived there until August 2004, when she moved to Norman. She was the last of her large, loving family. She leaves a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Morgan was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She was known by family for having a big and unselfish heart. She had compassion and love for her little dog, KoKo, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband Walter Kenneth Morgan; parents Mr. and Mrs. John Green, of Antlers; seven sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her nieces Mary Ruth Bandt, of Norman, Milly Jean Gill, of Norman, Kay Sisson, of Duncan, Carla Green, of Hugo, Barbara Green of Wyoming and Johnnie Green of Texas; four nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors. Bearers will be her nephews.
