OBITUARY: (1956) VILLAGE-TOTUSKEY LOCAL NEWSPAPER
DEATH OF MRS. BLANCHE BRYANT
On Friday morning, January 27th, the soul of Mrs. Blanche Thrift Bryant passed into the great beyond. All that loving hands could do was done, but was of no avail. She was gone to her heavenly home to be with her Lord whom she served since her childhood. She was a lifelong member of Totuskey Baptist Church, also the Sunday School and W.M.S. We shall miss her smiling face so much, but our loss is her eternal gain. She was laid to rest in the Totuskey Cemetery on Sunday afternoon , after an impressing funeral service in the church. The flowers were beautiful and profuse. To the heartbroken children and loved ones, we offer our heartfelt sympathy. Quite a number of relatives and friends from Hopewell and Washington were here for the funeral.
