MRS. SUSAN KERNAN TO BE BURIED TODAY
Funeral serviced will be held this morning at 9:30 o'clock from the St. Thomas Aquinas Church for Mrs. Susan B. Kernan, former popular Reno school teacher, who died Saturday. Following a Requiem Mass she will be laid at rest in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Mrs. Kernan was a Virginia City girl. She graduated from the University of Nevada and for several years was a most successful teacher in the grammar schools in this city.
She leaves besides her husband, Joseph J. Kernan, a daughter, Mary R. and a son, Joseph Kernan, Jr. Surviving also is her mother, Mrs. Katherine Hinch; three sisters, Mrs. R.B. Henricks of Carson City, Mrs. Karl Olfers of Lovelock and Mrs. Samuel B. Durkee of Fallon, and two brothers, Will Hinch of Virginia and Nicholas of Butte, Mont.
Mrs. Kernan was 32 years old.
