A funeral service for Gladys Queen, 85, will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Criss Schoedinger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Gladys was born October 1, 1919 to John Kirk and Ruth (Wills) Hiles in Newark. Gladys was the owner of auction houses in Gratiot and Hanover as well as Weathervane Antiques. She is survived by her step-mother Mary Kirk, a son Lee (Debbie) Amos, daughters, Patricia Price of Columbus and Aryawanna Kent of Newark, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brother Thomas Kirk; sisters Alberta Amos of Cleveland, Grace Reinshield of Hebron, and Wilma Keller of Newark. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Queen; sons Carlos Hanning, Jerald Hanning, and Gerald Hanning, four brothers and 3 sisters.
