Robert "Bob" D. Appling, 66, of Ottawa Lake, MI, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, in The Toledo Hospital.
Born September 12, 1945, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Paul and Laura (Langschied) Appling.
He was employed for the former Doehler-Jarvis in Toledo for over 30 years.
Bob enjoyed woodworking and boating.
He is survived by his loving friend, Beverly Engler; brother, Eugene (Doris) Appling;
nephew, Randy (Karen) Appling; niece, Daryla (Donald) Weible;
great-nephew, Bradley Appling; great-nieces, Alyna Appling and Tora (Bryan) Falk, and great-great-niece, Keilee Falk.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
