Services for Henry W. Dark, 92, retired city water department employee who died Monday, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Edward Holman & Son. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum.
Mr. Dark was born in St. Clair county Missouri, November 15, 1861, and came to Portland in 1900. He retired from the water department in 1944 after 33 years service. He was a member of Portland lodge No. 55 AF&AM.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Dolan and Mrs. Lucy Huitt; three sons, Delmont Dark, Portland; Oren Dark, Boring; and Floyd Dark, Clatskanie; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Oregon State Death Certificate 748, records Henry W. Dark, a 92 year old widowed white male. Died of coronary occlusion due to arterial sclerosis.
