Excerpt --- Marcellus A. Sisler, 70, former resident of Kingwood and member of the county court for several terms, died Tuesday morning at this home in Easton, Monongalia county, following an illness of several months duration. He was a member of the United Brethern church of Kingwood and well know in this and Monongalia counties. The body was brought here to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clark Hoover, where it will remain until final funeral services which will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Etta Sisler; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Peters, Morgantown; Mrs. William Riggins and Mrs. Clark Hoover, Kingwood; one son, Charles C. Sisler, Mingo, Ohio; six step-children, Mrs. Earl Grimes, Mrs. Elza Grimes, Mrs. Carl Schmeichel, Mrs. Hobert Keith, Mrs. Forrest Pugh and Alva Messenger, all of Morgantown. One brother, Blaine Sisler, Kingwood, and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia McGinnis and Mrs. Ada Weaver of Cam Ground also survive. The deceased lived in Kingwood prior to his location in Monongalia county several years ago. For a number of years he was an engineer on the West Virginia Northern Railroad here and also served several terms as a member of the county court from Kingwood district.
