Son of George & Amelia Tafel
Husband of, Olive Vanbibber Tafel
I never knew my Husband's Grandpa Tafel but I've been told what an exceptional man he was.
Henry never owned a car and was happy riding his bicycle wherever he went. He worked for many years in a furniture factory and compensated his income by growing vegetables and flowers. During the depression when most people lost everything, his family survived by working together, whether in the garden or at menial jobs. He taught his children that hard work and honesty were paramount to living a good life.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
