Mr. W. N., The Oldest
Undertaker In The State.
Had Buried 10,000 Pcople, or About
The Population of This
City.
After a lingering illness, Mr. W. N. Druker, one of the oldest of our citizens, peacefully passed away last Friday night at 10 o'clock. He was in the 76th year of his age. He came here from the Northern part of the State when a young man and the greater part of his busy life was spent in Hopkinsville, where he married and raised a large family, five daughters and one son. His friends were legion. He was probably the oldest undertaker in the State and told a friend not long since that he had buried over 10,000 people. A large gathering of friends attended his funeral services at the Methodist church last Sunday morning. He was a member of the Methodist church for a half a century or more.
