Funeral services for Willard C. Anderson, 64, of 909 North Market Street in Marion, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Mitchell Funeral Home in Marion. The Rev. David McChesney will officiate.

Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Marion.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday in Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion.

He was born July 7, 1910, in Cobden to Albert and Gertrude Harbaugh Anderson.

He married June Snyder, June 12, 1937, in Salem.

He operated the Marion Equipment Co. for more than 20 years. He was retired. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge No. 800, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Heyde-Pillow Post, all of Marion.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Charles A. of Marion, and Brian at home; three daughters, Phyllis Newton of Indianapolis, Indiana, Margaret Biggs of Lubec, Maine, and Emily Sneed of Carbondale; two brothers, Oscar and Melvin Anderson, both of Cobden; a sister, Mildred Tylor of Longview, Texas; and six grandchildren.
