Ethel E. Wolhart, 90, formerly of Route 2, died Wednesday at Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center, Sartell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church. Burial will be in Brockway Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday at Benson Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ethel Wolhart was born May 18, 1897 in Brockway Township, Stearns County, to [Albert] and Lottie (Dayton) Crosby. She married Raymond Wolhart Oct. 11, 1918, in St. Cloud and the couple farmed in the Brockway area most of their lives. She was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church.
Survivors include sons, Myron and Lyle, St. Cloud; Merrill, Sacramento, Calif.; sister Alice [Wellman], Dallas, Ore., nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jan. 2, 1982; five brothers; and one sister.
