Services for Bryant "Pete" Anglin, of McComb, were 10 a.m. on Monday, March 15, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb, with burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Mr. Anglin, 82, died March 13, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Arcadia, La., on March 11, 1928, to Dewey Anglin and Golden Nicholson Anglin.

He worked for 10 years with the Illinois Central Railroad and retired from River Bend Construction in St. Francisville, La. He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, R.V. Anglin; and his sister, Mary Anglin Taylor.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Ruby Murray Anglin; his nephews, Bryant Murray and Richard Anglin; and his niece, Bethany Murray Dalton.

Pallbearers were Richard Anglin, Bryant Murray, Bryce Murray, Jack Dalton, Brad Etheridge and Hershel Jones.

Memorials may be made to New Heights Baptist Church.
