Antone A. Archer, 77, of Hampshire, and a former Berwyn resident. died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin following a short illness. The Rev. Robert L. Vaughn conducted services Wednesday in Frederick Funeral Home in Hampshire. Interment was in Burlington, Ill., Union Cemetery. Mr. Archer retired as an iron worker after 30 years with H.E. Anning Co. in Chicago. He was a life member of the Berwyn Moose Lodge and a 38-year member of the Cicero-Berwyn Elks Club. Survivors include his wife, Julia; one daughter Judie Denner; one brother; one sister; and two grandsons.
