Annie Lee Davis, age 89 of Van Alstyne passed away November 23, 2014 at her residence in Van Alstyne. She was born May 16, 1925 in Maybank Texas to Lee Dyer and Ida Grogan. She married Wayne Davis November 14, 1942 in Van Alstyne.

She is survived by her daughter, two sons, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a great host of friends..

She was an active member of the community with her great love of helping people. She helped starting Meadowbrook Nursing Home, helping with getting food for the needy, and helping with anything needed at her church First Baptist of Van Alstyne.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Friday, November 28, 2014 at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne with Rev. Jimmy Tarrant officiating, and burial will follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
