Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Adkins-Elmore Cemetery. Bro. Rod Walley will be officiating. He was born on Sunday, August 22, 1943 in Green County, KY, and died Monday, April 9, 2012, in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY at the age of 68 years, 7 months, and 18 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was of the Baptist Faith, and was a lifelong farmer.
He united in marriage to Mary Jane Greenwell on August 22, 1987 who preceded him in death on December 8, 2004.
Survivors include the following: Two sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie and Pearl Adkins of Irvington, KY; and Chris and Michelle Rawlins of Martinsville; IN
A daughter: Stacey Adkins of Indiana
Three sisters and two brothers: Lydia Simpson of Edmonton, KY; Josie Adkins of Vine Grove, KY; and Margaret Dawson, Robert Adkins, and Ricky Adkins, of Greensburg, KY.
