Duane Brown

Duane Clark Brown of Eugene died April 15 at age 56. The family chose not to list the cause of death. A memorial service was held April 18 at First Evangelical Church of Eugene.

He was born Nov. 27, 1955, in Tucson, Ariz., to Jon and Ina Todd Brown. He married Robyn Dean Coleman-Newman on March 12, 2004, in Eugene.

He attended Hiram Johnson High School and acquired an associate of arts degree from California State University in Sacramento. He worked as a cook for many years and was responsible for opening many HomeTown Buffets. He also was a co-founder of Angels Outreach Ministeries in Eugene.

Survivors include his wife, Robyn; his mother, Ina Badger, now of Sacramento; a son, Jonathon; four daughters, Darlene, Chanae, Justina and Deseray; a stepson, Deon; five stepdaughters, of Jina, Synda, Lyndee, Kristy and Naenae; 36 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
