Mary Catherine Henry Meighen, 87 of Kokomo, Ind., formerly of Wheeling, W.Va., died June 1, 2005 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital, Kokomo.

She was born September 27, 1917 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Arch P. and Clara A. (Martin) Henry.

She retired in 1980 from Civil Service in Washington, D.C.

She loved cooking, gardening and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Arch P. Henry Jr. and Martin W. Henry; and one sister, Gloria Runeo.

Surviving are one son, Michael G. Meighen and his wife, Karen of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Sandra L. Meighen of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Terri Laudermilt and her husband, Ray of Slidell, La., Mark D. Meighen and Sandra M. Meighen both of Huntsville, Ala.; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2004 at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va. with Rev. Roger Smith, officiating.
