She was born August 23, 1926 in Wetzel Co, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Flowers Lipscomb.
She was a member of the New Martinsville Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Goddard, two daughters, Linda Lou and Mary Ann Goddard, three brothers, Charles, Donald, and Jack Lipscomb.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Laura) Goddard of Proctor and Terry (Polly) Goddard of New Martinsville, WV, a daughter, Joyce Cochran of Canton, OH, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Family received friends on Monday from 4-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV where funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:00pm with Rev. David Snyder officiating.
