GRATIA - On Sunday, January 17, 1943, at 7 o'clock a.m., JOHN BAPTISTE GRATIA, husband of Beulah Wille, father of John B. Jr., Raymond H., Eloise T. and Marcel E. Gratia, stepfather of Mrs. A. Maxey and Mrs. H.W. Randell, Jr.; brother of Joseph M. Gratia; aged 52 years, 6 months and 19 days; a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of 3313 Eagle Street. The relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Henderson Sugar Refinery, Inc., officers and members of Royal Audubon Lodge No. 182, B.K. of A. are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place Tuesday, January 19, 1943 at 10 o'clock a.m. from the funeral home of William Betz & Sons, 7611 Maple Street, near Adams street. Religious services at St. John's Evangelical church, Belfast and Joliet streets. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
