He was an Army Veteran; and a Graduate of Becker High School.
A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Franklin First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his Wife, Betty Everette Betts of Franklin, TN; two Daughters, Patricia D. Stevens and Husband, Sam, of Amory; and Debe B. Newton and Husband, John, of Franklin; one Brother, Bob Betts of Tupelo; two Sisters, Dorothy Stivale of Amory; and Mary Fields of Starksville; four Grandchildren; and three Great Grandchildren.
